Growing up I was never the sporty type. I was the chubby kid that never did PE. Honestly! If you asked my school peers who would go on to be a Personal Trainer I would have been the last person on their minds. I had no coordination, was unfit, unconfident and over weight. This all changed after I was bought a weights set for my 17th Birthday.
I began training harder and as my body shape improved, so did my confidence. I was so happy with myself that I had achieved something and made a real improvement to my life that I wanted to help other people achieve this feeling too. I went to college to study a BTEC in Sporting excellence and also a CYQ level 2 gym instructor certificate. This enabled me to get a job in a prestige health spa part time where I began my journey into the fitness world. I then achieved my level 3 Personal Trainer award and left college .
I was eager to start work as a Personal Trainer so I applied at Fitness First and started the following week. At Fitness First I became a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After 3 years I left Fitness First and we opened up our own training studio in 2009. 5 years of experience and results with each and every client. "I absolutely love my job" Confucious said "A man who loves his job never works a day in his life."I couldn't agree more, I get just as much satisfaction from helping my personal training clients achieve their goals as they do and it is this what helps me stand out as a personal trainer.
I am all about results, if my personal training clients aren't improving, I'm not doing my job. Through trial and error over many years I have learnt what works and what doesn't and how to achieve the best results in the least amount of time.
There is so much conflicting information out there on diet and exercise that it is no wonder so many people fail miserably when trying to lose weight. I keep up to date with the latest personal training and diet information available but I will not trust it until I have tried it on myself or seen first hand results that it works before I use it to get people into the best shapes of their lives. I have forgotten more about diet and exercise than many will ever learn. I stick to the principle of keeping what works and discarding what doesn't.
This has helped me develop a proven formula for success based on experience and previous clients results. No matter what your goals are I can guarantee you I have helped plenty more achieve your exact goal. You can count on me to be there to help you every step of the way.

"I am Angela. I'm from Switzerland and came to England to be a professional rider. I started international showjumping recently. These tournaments are hard work and Shane really helped me to get in shape and improve my general fitness as well as adjust my diet to the requirements of the sport.
